“Under normal circumstances, you should be able to move into your house immediately after closing. Typically, the contract reads that at the time of closing, the seller has to give over possession of the property and possession of the keys at the time of closing, which means that you should be able to take immediate possession unless of course there is an agreement whereby you need to wait in order to take possession of the property.”
