Can I still qualify for a loan modification if my loan has already been modified?
“Whether you can qualify for a new loan modification if you’ve already been modified depends on your particular bank and the program that you were previously modified under. Certain programs, specifically certain government programs, will only allow you to modify your loan one time within a certain time period. The answer to that question is it depends on your bank. You need to contact your bank and/or professional so that you can find out if they are willing to do it. But if you don’t try, you’ll never get it done anyway.”
